I’m back from california

I forget how beautiful the bay and the pacific ocean are. my last trip was probably 6 years ago. I had several goals for this trip(besides meeting all my friends there, ultimate goal) and let me sum them up in photos.

goal #1 see the ocean. one flaw living in central texas – no ocean around. it’s amazing to see the ocean every single day while I’m there.

1146
Big Sur

1282
Natural Bridges State Park

goal #2 see big trees. it’s actually mr. adventure’s goal

900
muir woods. tall redwoods

goal #3 lombard st. lame, but I missed it last time.

678
it was packed with tourists. I wouldn’t want to stay there despite the gorgeous view.

goal #4 palace of fine arts. I saw tons of bloggers took their OOTD there and had to have my OOTD taken there. lol.

768
I was pointing at the fountain. my photo didn’t turn out well >_<
blue sweater with bow prints – pacific mall, markham
burnt orange tank – h&m
black ripped lace leggings – m’sia
camel lace up boots – m’sia
black/grey infinity scarf – f21
round necklace – nordstrom

goal #5 golden gate bridge. not really a goal, but a must visit when in sf

805
leaped for the ggb. not a prefect day for photo.

goal #6 FOOD. should be goal #1 instead.

273San Tung Chinese Restaurant – crispy, sweet and tangy chicken wings

279noodles in black bean sauce aka jajamyun. this was more delicious than the highly rave wings. if you know malaysian food, this is similar to hokkien char without the fragrant fried pork fats.

926fishermen’s grotto – monterey. seafood pasta. it’s hard to get good seafood being in central texas

1182
banana leaf – milpitas. out of the dishes we tried, only “char kuey teow” and “huat tan hor” tasted authentic. being a m’sian, I have to hunt for m’sian food anywhere I go.

557santoka ramen – mitsuwa, san jose. if I can only eat one type of food for the rest of my live, it would be ramen. slurp~~~~~

436In-N-Out Burger. sorry californias, I prefer five guys. I love my burger with grilled mushroom, grilled onions and bacon!

Picnik collage
yummy dessert. dessert republic café and beard papa’s

goal #7 hauling. part of vacation is shopping!

659663007009
010
beauty – I’m loving the essential hair mask which I got from sasa and decided to try the shampoo and conditioner. moving back to the good old dhc cleansing oil. kose softymo deep cleansing oil doesn’t work for waterproof mascara. trying the sana hanadomy collegen lotion for winter and the gatsby hair wax is for the mr.

daiso – random stuffs. I’m all set to make a bento box. shimo being an inspector

fashion – part of my haul from h&m.

magazines – I always pick up japanese magazines whenever I can for the freebies. lol

that’s to all your wishes. it’s going to be a busy year in 2012 planning for the day!

OMG, this was so fun to read through because I'm here in SF. I like how you thought Lombard was lame, hehe, it's always packed like that. And very cute OOTD there, looks like you had a great time all over SF, I still need to go to Big Sur sometime. Thanks for sharing photos of your trip, I also now want to try Five Guys one day because I love IN-N-Out and with mushrooms and bacon sounds amazing.

You look super cute and pretty in your pics!

Such amazing pictures, I love trees and those Redwoods look so impressive.

Thanks for commenting on my Luview post. I haven't used it enough to notice any whitening effects, but I do find it fairly moisturising x
